HUATAO Makes Strong Impression at Starch Expo 2026 with Multi‑Country Orders

Hydrocyclones, grinding plates, and stone catcher drive on‑site success for the corn wet‑milling specialist

From 15 to 17 June 2026, the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai hosted the 20th edition of the Shanghai International Starch and Starch Derivatives Exhibition. This year’s event covered over 200,000 square metres, welcoming more than 2,500 exhibitors and approximately 120,000 industry attendees. Organised jointly by the China Starch Industry Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo, the expo served as a vibrant platform for technological exchange and commercial collaboration across the entire starch value chain.

HUATAO was among the prominent exhibitors, presenting its comprehensive line‑up of wet‑milling components – including grinding plates, hydrocyclones, stone catchers, desanders, tube bundle dryers, disc mills, and screw presses. The booth became a focal point for international visitors, with delegations from India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Brazil spending considerable time evaluating the products and discussing operational challenges. These interactions provided valuable insights into regional processing practices and reinforced HUATAO’s commitment to customised engineering support.

The commercial results were equally encouraging. Over the three show days, HUATAO finalised five separate orders: two for hydrocyclones, two for grinding plates, and one for the Model 760 stone catcher. Each order reflects a specific customer requirement, ranging from capacity expansion to maintenance replacement, and demonstrates the versatility of HUATAO’s manufacturing capabilities.
